“Simplicity Parenting offers a simple, orderly, and effective pathway to simplify four realms at home, which reduces stress on children and their parents, and allows room for connection, creativity, and relaxation.”
- Kim John Payne
Based on the book by Kim John Payne and Lisa M. Ross, the worldwide Simplicity Parenting movement is inspiring families to make small, do-able changes with big, satisfying results. Workshop participants will come away with an introduction to some of the practical, creative, and simple strategies available for helping parents to use the extraordinary power of "less" to raise calmer, happier and more secure kids.
Parents and caregivers can help one another lower children’s chronic stress and move disordered and seemingly “disobedient” acting out back toward integrated, connected, and well-oriented behavior. This book answers many of the questions that parents have about what changes can be made in lifestyle to support success at school and overall healthy child development. Simplicity Parenting can help parents and teachers experience less stress and fewer meltdowns, more cooperation and less fighting, and easier transitions between activities. The principles are equally applicable in the classroom and at home!
